Whether you’re on duty or out enjoying the day, the Propper® Tactical Duty Belt is designed to provide utility in any environment. The molded belt buckle adjusts easily but holds tight when it’s loaded down. Heavy-duty 1.5-inch-wide nylon withstands constant, long-term use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent belt! Bought 2 belts: khaki and black. Both handle nicely though you may want file or trim the nylon ends to make it smooth. The nylon is somewhat stiff so it will take some time to break in. Both colors look good with any casual pants and tactical pants. The plastic buckle is somewhat curved so it looks like it's bulging out from the front. You do have to cinch it relatively tight to make the belt fit properly. The buckle should make going through metal detectors easily as you won't have to unbuckle the belt. Just wished the basic shipping cost wasn't nearly the same as the price of the belt!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Satisfied Very satisfied, great price. It supports a holster and a large bundle of keys, keeps its shape, stays tight/ doesn't slip and the 1.5 inch width fits most belt loops, whereas a 2 inch would not. I ordered 2 (black) to offset the shipping. Should have ordered more in the other colors. One did fray a little on the end, so I used a hot piece of steel to melt & smooth it down. I also like that it's synthetic rather than an animal product. Wish I knew about this product years ago.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks nice, but hasn't lasted one season Received this belt, from first use it was difficult to thread into my "1.5" inch belt loops. Thought it was me. Who measures the width of a belt prior to use? How about after the poly buckle snaps? Comes in at 1-5/8" (thank ya Stanley!). Purchased a 5.11 Tactical Belt; my goodness the buckle is great but the webbing is not as robust compared to this Propper which when the belt buckle is (was) intact, it doesn't loosen. Looking for a replacement buckle even if it's metal because the webbing is definitely solid. For now, two stars will suffice because you can still use this useless belt for lashing down something then use duct tape or similar for a tight hold. Wait, isn't that what a functioning belt is for? Battle tested? Which battle? Maybe for the buckle the battle occurred in the chem lab! No rookie here...belts, and polish. Too bad, gift-no receipt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic buckle broke after 6 months Bought the belt directly from Propper. Used it for about six months. Getting dressed for work this morning, the buckle fractured top and bottom. Belt is useless now and I’m reporting for duty “out of uniform”.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TSA Friendly Belt I originally bought one of these belts to wear with my cargo pants for convenience whenever I flew commercially because of the molded buckle. I thought I could wear it through the metal detector without having to remove it and then put it back on. I was right. I've flown commercially six times and have never had to remove said belt. It works well for this purpose. I shortened this first belt by using all-purpose shears to recut it to size, then melted the recut angle and end on my glass-topped stove. It worked like a dream. I did have to use a razor blade scraper and some stove-top polish to remove the nylon residue from the stove top, but I knew that going in. Yes, the nylon is stiff and the buckle protrudes a bit because of that, but I don't care. It works well for me, is fully adjustable for comfort, and I don't have to remove it when I pass through the TSA screening. I also sling a two-zippered compartment all-purpose pouch from it in which I carry my cell phone, insulin pens, needles and alcohol wipes, as well as a tactical pen because I can't carry a knife on the plane. These items serve my travel purpose very well. I have purchased two additional belts of different colors since. I really like them, though shipping on the first belt was almost as much as the belt itself. I'm supposing that if one purchases three belts, the shipping would remain the same as shipping one. Just a thought.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great belt! This works well as a uniform belt for off duty use but I don't know if I'd use it as a dedicated duty belt. The reason is, in my opinion, the belt isn't stiff enough/thick enough for putting multiple pieces of equipment on. In my experience I like a duty belt with a bit more rigidity. Despite this, the belt works and holds up well for conceal carry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall Great Belt This belt has been a staple of my uniform for over 7 years. Its great for wearing as a uniform pant belt because the buckle rides flat, the belt is made of strong material and doesn't wear on the pant's belt loops or waist. As for off duty wear the belt is stiff enough to carry the weight of a weapon comfortably.

I know th S may seem like a silly question but I’m going to order a belt and it says waist size, do I have to order one size up for a belt or is that already accounted for.

Asked by: Mkulick
Belt sizes are the same as pants waist sizes. Hope that helps!

Hi there i bought a this belt and why the OD green belt came with belt buckle has propper logo on it and the Black belt didn't have any logo on it. what is the difference? one is older version and new version? Thanks!

Asked by: HENRY
This was a slight cosmetic design change along the way when we changed our logo. Functionally, the two belts are identical.

Are the belt buckles being improved, seems like there breaking often?

Asked by: TeeTom54
This is a budget-friendly belt so it does not contain the premium buckle of our higher end belts. If you need a metal buckle, we suggest the 360, 720, or Rapid Release belt.
