It’s the real deal. The Propper® ACU Trouser is an authentic military garment approved for active duty use by the U.S. Army. The trouser features forward-tilted cargo pockets, knee pouches with hook and loop fasteners for internal kneepad inserts and bellowed storage pockets on the calf. Blousing on the leg cuffs creates a more comfortable fit over boots. The ACU Trouser is sewn to military specification FQ/PD 07-14A.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Acu Trousers, Army Universal This is a follow-up from a previous review I gave on here concerning a pair of acu's I purchased... I gave a negative review due to buttons being sewn on improperly. I was contacted by staff at Propper by e-mail and their customer service staff verified my purchase, and sent me a new pair of trousers, and made sure they were inspected before sending them. Great customer service!! They made things right and I could not expect better service! I give 5 stars now. The construction of the replacement pair is satisfactory, and I will make future orders as needed. Once again, great customer service!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Acu trouser, medium long, digital army The trousers are a little different from my actual military issued ones. They have buttons on the main cargo pockets instead of the velcro. And every single button on these trousers is sewn on so badly that the buttons are already coming un-stitched and completely frayed out. I washed these trousers one time and wore them for the first time today. Very, very, poor job sewing on these buttons. I picked propper because I thought I was getting the best quality (at more cost of course) I will be sewing my buttons on correctly myself because it would take a month to get a replacement pair by mail. QC person should be fired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go-To Pants in Camo that Works I've got a pair of these that I wear on a nearly weekly basis to play paintball. Off the bat, they're the best pair of tactical pants I've owned. - I'm also military, though not a grunt, so I've got a bit of experience on that side to base this off of. Compared to the BDUs, ABUs, flight suits, OCP A2CUs, and 5.11 pants I've worn in the past decade, these are hands-down my most useful set of trousers I own. The pockets are large enough to hold whatever you want (I've never tried, but the thigh pockets should be massive enough to hold an MRE with room to spare) while also secure enough to hold onto whatever's inside (phone, keys, or knife, the hip pockets keep everything in check whether I'm standing or sitting, running or crawling) . My high point is the knee pad pockets. Comparing these to my 5.11s, they're so much better. I actually use the 5.11 foam inserts in these and they fit just right. The velcro stays closed, and it's so nice not having to worry about normal kneepads that slide down to my shins when sprinting. The 5.11 pockets are too big, and I have to take the time to remove the inserts before washing. With these, I just leave them in and forget about them. And then there's the amazing camo. I run ATACS-FG whether it's super leafy and green during early summer, or if everything is dead and brown in the winter. With a set of OD gear on top (plate carrier, holsters, pouches, etc. None of it made by Propper). I got a comment the other day that I was unrecognizable from the trees around me. They only thing the person saw was a glint off my paintball gun's hopper lid. That was during winter. In spring, I've had people walk right in front of me, staring at me the whole time, until they finally recognized there was a person 10 feet in front of them. The only downside, if you really care about it, is that they don't sharpen up like the old BDUs or ABUs do. They do hold the permanent press crease down the legs...But I don't wear them to look sharp, I wear them because they work. I've got a different opinion of the TAC-U shirt I wear with these, but the pants are so awesome, I just wish Propper made the new spec ACUs with knee pad pockets, in ATACS.
