Customer Reviews
Rated 3 out of 5 by from okay, mine was small I am a private pilot and bought this to be ... a flight suit. The main point of this fabric is... to not melt when exposed to high temperatures, as can happen when close to a fire. As such, it may be unavoidable that the fabric is quite hard (not very flexible) and slightly harsh on the skin... but tolerable. The fabric is quite a bit thinner and lighter weight than I expected. One can see a fair amount of light is visible through the fabric, even the black color fabric like the one I purchased. My suit was too tight... and I got a tailor to measure me before I ordered. I almost could not get the suit on. After 2 or 3 minutes of struggle, I did manage. But then I could not get the suit off, no matter how many ways I tried and how much I struggled. This was scary! Fortunately I found someone to pull the suit off from behind me. I will return and buy the next larger size. I suspect that will fit well enough. Overall I'd say this product is reasonable... once you get the correct size. I see that someone else found his suit was too large, so I'm not sure what the solution is except to make your best guess, then return if not the correct size. I would start by buying a bit large, because you will almost certainly want to wear this suit over soft cotton clothes for comfort (and possibly for warmth in cold climates or cold temperatures at altitude). But the main reason to buy this product is to be in less danger if you are in a disaster situation of some kind (like a plane crash or malfunction) where fire or flames are a problem. Most fabrics will melt and bond to your skin, which will greatly increase the chances you die, and greatly damage your skin and body even if you survive. And, of course, a one-piece flight suit has no gaps for wind to sneak through your clothes, so it is good for pilots (in some aircraft and situations), as well as race-car drivers and various other extreme situations.

do you have a size guide with inches and cm's for the flight suit?

Asked by: PDawg
We include a size chart on each page for the item. It will be located on the product page next to the Features about the items. The measurements are in inches. You would want someone to take measurements of the required fields and use those on the size chart to find the best fit.

Hello, I just want to ask if in what US state is your factory situated. Also if you can extend this price until July 8, because we to plan to order 857 sets of Flight Suit-sage green, 169 sets of Flight Suit-royal blue and 240.

Asked by: Mimi Pimentel
The factory that manufactures this flight suit is overseas, not in the US. As for pricing and inventory, this is a clearance item, so we only have the quantity on hand and will not be adding more. However, if you need a larger order, we recommend the Propper® CWU 27/P Aramid Flight Suit as an alternative: https://www.propper.com/cwu-27-p-airweave-flight-suit-1.html

is a small size considered a regular?

Asked by: riche
Flight suits come in S (short) R (regular) or L (long). The sizes on the site show which length it is, regardless of if it is a small size 34 (34” chest) or 52 (52” chest). Does that answer your question? If not, please clarify. Thanks!

Are these suites NFPA 2112 compliant? If so, is there documentation to verify?

Asked by: DHman
These are pilots coveralls which are rated by mil-spec to pass 4-second flash flame test. They are used for different purposes and therefore these items are not certified to NFPA 2112.
