Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pants I have ever bought. Great pants. Very durable, breathable, and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, color has held up, and wears well I bought this as a uniform pant and enjoyed how it felt and wore. They look good and have held up well for over a year now. I liked them so much that I have purchased 5 more in different colors to wear everyday. The only drawback is the phone pocket which is not very uniform in size. Sometimes the flap will not close because the pocket is not as deep as on other pair of pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality and comfortable pants After purchasing and trying these pants for a month, I decided to purchase another pair. They are more of a slim fit compared to some other companies tactical pants. The elastic waist is comfortable and they are not overly baggy. There are plenty of pockets and the wallet pocket is perfect at preventing the wallet from sitting too low in the pocket. I highly recommend these pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely best pants for the price. I've been wearing these pants specifically for about 6 years. I've wore 5.11 tactical before and think these are comparable if not superior in most ways. Love that i can put knee pads inside on my own. Ripstop works great. I'm a big guy. 345 pounds and do not find these pants binding unless I'm raising my knee well above my waist. I would suggest these for anyone on a budget for sure. Only place that has ever worn out was the inside thighs, again because I'm a large guy and they rub a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pant! I bought a pair of these and I have been wearing them now for about 4 years. I have others as well from Propper. Well made!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the best work pants I have ever bought (Comfortable/Durable) Being in construction management, I have gone through so many clothes over the years. These are the toughest pants that stand up to dirt, water, etc. I hope they keep making this for many years to come. My previous pairs of stretch tactical pants lasted 2+ years(I still wear them) and I bought these and have been wearing them for approx. 6 months without issues. I have them in every color and I wash them by themselves in a dye/fragrance/fabric softener free detergent. If you take care of these pants, they'll take care of you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Feeling Tac Pants I've Ever Worn. Period. These pants have an absolutely perfect fit for me, are incredibly lightweight, and the stretch effect literally makes the pants almost transparent feeling when kneeling, bending down or sitting. The fit and feel of these pants make them worth every penny, and then some! Don't hesitate to purchase for yourself or agency.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Updating a previous review I thought I'd give Propper a second try and checked out what they had at my local Army/Navy store. I found the same style pants, but with a few improvements: The pockets had been redone in the same durable ripstop material as the rest of the pants. That had been the only major issue with the last pair I bought. Followed by reinforcement on the right pocket where a folding knife's clip wears down the seam. I was very excited to see the improvements. Having worn this pair six days a week for work all summer I have to say they've held up fantastically. I'm also happy that Propper recognized a flaw in the product and corrected it. Great pair of pants. I'll definitely look for them again as I beat these into the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don't wear anything else! The Canvas wears like Iron, looks good, very comfortable. Hell, I will wear a new pair out to dinner, no issues. When it comes to work again no issues, warm in the winter (with silk long johns), not bad in the summer for the protection. Very tough and repairable. I have pants over 4 years in service. I been wearing tactical pants/shorts for over 18 years regularly. I had retail, brand names, outfitter, military issue. These pants have beaten them by a margin, some by a large margin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable...run small I've bought numerous different style Propper pants and the Tactical Lightweight Ripstop are my favorite. Some of the other styles don't fit as well or have oddly placed pockets . These particular pants have held up great for the 2 years I've worn them. I work on big rig trucks and while these pants WILL pick up grease, they never rip and the knees have held up well. I bought size 34 waist which fits well in every other pant I own, but these were tight from the get-go, even before washing . I'd suggest going up one size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adventure TV cameraman puts pants through the ringer I have two pairs of Propper Tactical pants and one pair of the EMS pants. I couldn't speak highly enough of all of these pants. I just spent three months in the mountains of Montana wearing these pants every day of our production. These are TOUGH pants! I spend a lot of time on the ground rolling around and jumping on my knees to get the perfect shot. Even sliding down rocky hill sides. Not to mention all the brush we dredge through. Not one single rip anywhere on these pants. I love the water resistant feature. That's a huge bonus on rainy and wet days. My legs were never wet. As a cameraman I have a ton of stuff I need to have handy for my cameras so all the pockets are great. In fact there are pockets inside of pockets. Which can make it a little tough to find things on the EMS pants but once you get a routine of where things go it's all good. If I had worn Carhart's or something I would have been soaked several times over and had rips all over I'm sure. Perfect adventure pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wear like IRON Have 8 pair of these, 5 in Khaki and 3 in Black. For some reason, even though they are both the same size, the black ones are a bit smaller. However, in terms of wear and longevity? THESE CANNOT BE BEATEN. ONLY modification I made was having elastic put on the pants legs so I didn't have to shorten the pants legs due to a smaller inseam. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, have had for OVER 5 years! BEYOND 5 STARS!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First purchase So far, pants fit good. Plenty of pockets to store items. Just washed in cold water, held shape and creases. Will check fit tomorrow!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The price helps these pants fit my budget. Really like the pants, I think they are the best I know of at that price point.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worn for EMS duties on ambulance; 12-hour shifts Likes: Comfortable and fits appropriately. My hips are a bit wider than most people, so sometimes sizing is an issue. Plenty of space for movement. D-ring in front for keys and ID. Very deep back pockets, with standard pocket hidden inside of them. Velcro enclosures on back. Front pockets on left leg (presumable for a spare magazine) fits cell phone perfectly and secured with velcro. Waist has elastic stretch. Fly pocket has a cloth tab to easily pull up / down. Price was a tremendous value! Need improvement: Would like to see: shirt tail retention inside the waist; gusset in crotch (I can still squat just fine); "LAPD Navy" is not the correct color. My uniform is 'LAPD blue' and there is a visible difference. Overall, I like these and would recommend these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality! a little snug in the croch area. Very sturdy pants have been a favorite for many years. I usually buy two pairs a year to last me through the year. This last time it seems as though somethings a little different. The sizing was a little off so range of motion is a little hindered which is the reason for the 4 star rating. Aside of that if you just get a size larger you cant go wrong with these pants. They are fantastic, durable, look good, and light weight. I will continue to purchase these pants as long as they are available.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice pants So far, these seem to be really nice pants. I've worn them while doing construction, vehicle repair, and on my motorcycle. The only problems are all the little leftover threads that are sticking through the stitching from when the pants were made. Also the wallet pocket, in the back pocket is really tricky to use with a large wallet and it gets in the way if you don't use it. I've only worn them a dozen times or so. If they hold up for a few months, maybe I'll order more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inseam is Way to Long I always buy 32" inseams, but these pants are about 35" at least 3" to long. now I will have to pay to have them altered.
Date published: 2018-12-21
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Pants I bought 2 pairs of these pants. They are well made and designed. My only issue is the weight of the material -- for Southern California, these pants were too heavy for my taste, so I returned them.
Date published: 2018-10-27
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of pockets The right rear internal pocket is a little annoying because my wallet does not fit in it but gets caught up on it. I will get use to it or get a new wallet. Good pants thus far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cell phone pocket I love these pants. Let me say that at the outset. I've ordered 2 more pairs. The first pair I bought in a store in Beckley, West Virginia on the recommendation of EMT/firefighters at the Summit. Love the pants, the material, the pockets, the fit, everything. However, I ordered the Stone color from the Propper.com site and these pants have the cell phone pocket way much smaller than the pair I bought at the store. I'm wondering if this is an old style, remedied by customers who needed a larger cell phone pocket. The purchased pair fits the standard iPhone easily with the flap easily closed. The version I just received will not accommodate the cell phone easily and the flap will not fully close. This was one of the big selling points and I'm hoping that the other two pair ordered are like the kind and design of the store-purchased Khaki pair. If the cell phone pocket were as before, this would be a 5-star, hands down, but I'm docking it one star due to this inconsistency in cell phone pocket, which was one of the endearing qualities. This would not stop me from ordering more pairs, however, as the other fit, accessory pockets, and overall quality make these pants a good value, and isn't that what we are all shopping for?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love the pants but caution. I have worn this pant for many years along with other tactical pants put i have always gone back to Propper for their quality and fit and one main deciding factor in buying this pants is the wallet pocket. i hate the wallet sitting so low in the back pocket of some other pants and stopped buying them for that reason but just a caution the pants i purchased a few years ago fit perfect with leg room and most importantly my wallet would fit in the wallet pocket. the new Tactical pants i purchased a few month ago seem to be a size smaller than what im used to and the side pockets seem a little smaller and the items i normally fit into the side pockets fit tighter now with new ones but most importantly to me because the main reason i keep coming back to these pants was for the wallet pocket but these pants the wallet pocket is to small and the wallet i use all the time will fit into the wallet pocket of the old propper pants with no problem but if i can get the wallet into these I've literally had to undo my gun belt and grab a small corner of my wallet and ease it out with the tip of my fingers. so be careful; wallet pocket is to small and pants are now at least one size smaller than they used to be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from one change needed for the 5th star Dear Propper, I am loving your stuff. The fit is roomy without being baggy and certainly not tight fitting which I love. The teflon coating keeps stuff off them pretty good (but certainly turns up the heat)....I'll try the lightweight next. BUT, the change that is needed....please, please, please get rid of the snap closure in favor of a button. I have these great, tough wearing pants....but every time I squat, kneel, bend, or sit, the damn things come unsnapped. You already provide a button on the french fly, just go ahead and add it in place of the snap for the waistband closure.....Button closure gets you the 5th star :)

Why can noone make 36" waist with 38" inseam

Asked by: Kenny
Because it is practically not a stock size, almost never actually needed

I see khaki for a color to choose from I see the khaki color but I am looking for more of a cream color as in one of the pics. It is shown but not an option when ordering. I cannot select that color. Could you help?  Or can I call you? Thanks, Steve

Asked by: Steve
If you are wanting the lighter "Khaki" color, you would be looking for the Stone color. Stone has been discontinued. If you search F5252, click on the lightweight pants that are on a close out.

do these pants come with a belt?

Asked by: cody
No.
Answered by: JTM1
Date published: 2019-12-14

Inside the belt loops there are little tiny loops can someone explain what they are for? I'm thinking a chord to keep your pants up. I am curious since I wear a 31 inch waist and these only come in 30 or 32 waist.

Asked by: FRANKDRANK
BDU pants are often worn with military/law enforcement utility belts attached. These belts are designed to carry additional weight such as holsters and utility packs. Because of this weight stress, the small loops are sewn in for additional strengthening of the belt loops. The small loops are not sewn on each side which allows them to flex while still offering added support to the belt loops.
