Move freely. For a clean, professional look with streamlined functionality, try the Propper STL® III Pant. We’ve kept the classic four-pocket design, added a zippered pocket on the right thigh, and included our signature concealed pocket at the center back. The fabric’s natural stretch will keep you moving, wherever you're headed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Business Profile with Comfort and Function I was required to wear something business profile at work, and normal pants simply lack of functionality. STL III however managed to look "business" enough to fool most people's eyes and be functional. Just remember that if your superior is extremely picky, this pants might not pass their standard. The garment barely absorb sweat, but thin and breathable enough to be worn in hot, humid Taiwan summer. Stretchable garment is a plus, providing more freedom for movement. DWR treatment makes the pants barely catch something nasty to be washed, like beverage stain. Overall a great pants!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfortable material, poor fit I have had the STL I’s and STL II’s... both fit true to size. I wanted something that were a little bit less of the typical baggy tactical cargo look and have dropped a lot of weight, so I decided to go with the STL III’s. Since my experience with Propper is that their sizing is spot on, I ordered 34x34’s - same size I wear in jeans now. They fit perfect around the waist and the length was great, but to my dismay, they fit like skinny jeans in the butt and thighs. I don’t have a big behind or thick legs, so I wasn’t expecting this. The guys in the pictures are either wearing a size up, or have chicken legs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Propper STL I bought these pants sort of by accident. I was looking for another brands similar style but the uniform shop was out. I needed a pair of pants for a training class and I selected the Propper STL off the display. I am a size 35 waist and they only had 34 or 36. I picked the 36 and went to work. Once I put the pants on I was very pleased with the cut and texture. The fit is excellent. I was very happy with the pant and they held up well during the aggressive training. I will definitely buy more and I am attempting to have them added to uniform policy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love these pants....hate the front pockets. I bought two pairs of these to wear to work. I”m a detective and we are allowed to wear tactical pants in the office. After adding my side arm, extra mag and cuffs, I find I can’t get my hands in the pockets to retrieve anything. The front pockets are cut across instead of diagonally. Have to keep my car key in the front cargo pocket. And you could lose that pocket if the front ones were cut with an angle to allow access. Detectives in agencies across the country are dying for pants like these to wear into the office with a polo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for a low key uniform pant. The material is great with stretch and a Teflon finish for sliding stains off the pants. The rear pockets are open and do away with that snagging zipper that was part of the older SLT pants. The front pockets have a minimal opening and are cut really high, making it hard to fish small objects from the bottom of the pocket. I miss the front pocket reinforcements of the older pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking and comfortable!! These are some of the best pants I have ever worn as far as functionality, practicality and flat out comfortable. I usually wear a 36x30 but needed to move to a 36x32 for them to fit perfectly. My office is usually business dress but once or twice a week it's business casual and I wear these every time. I would recommend them to everyone. I'm buying more today as I want them in every color but always like to have several pairs of khakis. Great product!! Thank you!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants I have several pairs of STII and now several pairs of STLIII . They are great to wear anywhere you want movement in your lower body. They are lightweight and breath well. I would prefer a wider and deeper back pocket for getting the wallet off of my sciatic nerve . All around very comfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Fit These are similar to the STL II pants though fit is extremely different. I wear a 34x32 in those with plenty of room and could even carry my pistol in the front pocket. These are tight in the thigh area to the point you cannot get your hand in your pockets. The rear pocket depth is short and I had to turn my wallet to the side and hope it doesn't slip out. Front lower thigh pocket is useless due to the tight fit. Carrying a purse and ordering a size larger in the waist and these will be perfect.

"Features" lists cargo pockets but photo does not seem to show them. Are there cargo pockets or not? How do they secure? Buttons, zips etc?

Asked by: Mick
Mick, these pants feature a hidden cargo pocket with a zipper closure on the right leg, designed for a low profile look.

Looking for highly functional covert tac pants? Matt Stagliano from Breach-Bang-Clear says of the STL IIIs, “I am not a fan of cargo pockets, highly overt tactical pants, or anything that screams ‘gun guy.’ [However,] I have been able to wear the khaki colored STLIII’s to several business casual events and never once felt out of place.” Read his full review.
