Rated 5 out of 5 by RangeRat from Long-lasting hiking boot These boots have hiked a lot of rocky terrain with me. They show less wear all over, espeically on the toes, than most boots. The ankles require taut lacing to be supportive. Have worn these all day in 100F+ temps with no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by @TruChrisHomokay from Serious Boots I needed a propper pair of all around boots for work, recreation, & times of adversity. The United States Military Standard was the factor I trusted beyond the first review. I am not military. I work on agricultural farms & looked for boots with reliable tread to be worn on all terrains. The size 13 W Propper 300 Series boots fit true to my feet & are worn over 45 hours a week. These boots were complimented by co-workers & my father-in-law. Glad to #WearPropper & continue to support such a reputable company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BaHa from Very Comfortable Fist off I really wish I would have looked here first, way so much cheaper then the place i bought mine. so after the fact of hiked priced retail stores, this style boot was like walking on the most spectacular supper soft cloud of memory foam. to be straight about it, I didn't even feel as if i even was walking around half the time while at work and that shows a lot considering my work day is between 10 to 12 hours of non- stop walking, running, standing. Not sure about the whole boot line but this series has the inserts installed as well as a pair of filler pad inserts. Oh and lets not forget that out of the few series that i saw first hand this was the only one made here in the United States.

NTOA Member Tested and Recommended
With reviews from two different NTOA members, the Propper® Series 300 Zip Boot received their seal of approval garnering an overall score of 4.47 out of a possible 5 with its design, performance and durability praised across the board.
I received the Propper Series 300 boots for testing. The Propper 300 boots are geared towards military but also have tactical applications. When I say geared towards the military it is because the boots are Berry and Military standard spec compliant. My first impression when I received the boots was that they have a well-made and tough feeling. They did feel a little heavy taking them out of the box but once on the feet they felt of average weight. I tested the Propper 300 series boots for traction, shock absorption, breathability, fit and durability. Let's start with the traction. The soles are made with a high abrasion rubber compound and the toughness of the soles can definitely be felt on different terrains. I did not have any slipping on rocks, grass or hard floors. The tread was aggressive enough for tactical duties but also comfortable. The soles and traction appear to be very sturdy and long lasting. One of the main things that stands out on this boot are the sock-type lining and the memory foam footbed. These greatly help with comfort and shock absorption. The memory foam molds to your foot and provided good comfort during a twelve hour training. The sock-type lining also helped with fit and comfort. The boots came with additional insoles to help customize the boot fit if needed for sizing. I did not need the insoles as the boots were definitely true to size. The Series 300 boots I had were a summer version and had nylon-coated brass vents towards the arch area which definitely aided in breathability. I tested these boots during long training periods and daily activities and my feet never got too warm. The suede leather, upper nylon and soles of the boot all seemed very durable and I could not get the seams or materials to fatigue during testing. The laces were long enough that they could remain in the eyelets during donning and doffing which made it easier to re-tie. The only issues I found during testing was that my toe rubbed a little on the inside of the boot, which I fixed with different socks and like I said earlier, that they felt a little on the heavier side. I think that has to do with being military spec compliant. In all the Propper Series 300 boots are well made, true to size, breathable, durable and have average comfort. The price point is pretty average for tactical boots and I would definitely recommend for summer operations.
The Propper 300 Series boot is a very high quality boot which is made in the USA. It is a mil-spec boot which is primarily designed for military use. It's very comfortable right away and provides great support for the foot and lower ankle. The upper part of the boot is very flexible and therefore does not provide much upper ankle support. This is how some prefer their boots but I personally would prefer to have more support on top. The boot comes with a removable spacer that you can put under the insole to change the size slightly. Even with the spacer, the boots were too big for me. I wear a size 10 95% of the time and these boots seemed like they were closer to an 11 so you may want to order a size smaller than you normally wear. Overall these are very well made and high quality and it is very hard to find quality boots that are made in the USA. I would highly recommend them as long as you get the right size and do not require too much upper ankle support. Update: I gave the boots to my partner, who wears a 10 1/2 or 11 normally, and he loves them.
I was selected to test the Series 300 boots from Propper. I received the boots on a Monday and planned to wear them Wednesday for SWAT practice. The practice turned into an eight hour search in a heavily wooded area with several steep inclines. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and comfort of the boots. After a long day of searching and walking in rough terrain, my feet actually felt pretty good, especially for wearing boots right out of the box without breaking them in. The size of the boots is spot on for my normal boot size. The boots I received are tan in color, so I was unable to wear them on patrol and could only wear them at work for training. With that being said, the boots are so comfortable that I found myself putting them on every time I left the house. The boots are lightweight and cool. Because of this, the boots are best used in warm climates or used as seasonal boots in cold climates. The boots are quality made and therefore show little signs of wear so far. I was not a fan of the enclosed eyelets for the laces, but I did get used to them. Overall a VERY HIGH QUALITY boot!
"The Series 300 boots give me a feeling of confidence when I put them on. I know they are going to provide the support I need in any situation without compromising comfort." Read the rest of SpotterUp's review here: https://spotterup.com/propper-series-300-boots-rugged-reliable/
