The next generation of tactical pants is here. Built with revolutionary NEXStretch® fabric, the Men's Kinetic® Pant is designed to keep you moving forward, ahead, in pursuit of your goals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Fit - Function - Materials I own many tactical pants and many that also don't look too tactical. I like to mix it up. I ordered 3 pairs and the gray was not available and Propper made a prompt refund. I wish they consulted me, as I would have just ordered another color. Anyway, these pants are excellent. Well-made, very comfortable, many pockets to separate my EDC stuff. Concealed carry is very comfortable in these pants with the stretch waist band and such. Very good looking and durable material. The price is not bad for what you get. If they have a sale, I will order more multiple pants for everyday wear. If you travel often by air as I do, these pants are excellent for the road warrior. You can't go wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent pant, except the buttons I own several pairs of these pants. (3 for patrol, 2 for special ops, and 2 for training) They fit excellent. Wear and tear on them is okay, if you hot water wash they have a tendency to fade quickly, but I'd rather have faded pants than keep something I picked up from a customer. The main button on each pair of pants I own has come off at one point or another. And its not just me. My department just went to these as our every day patrol uniform; number 1 complaint is the button falling off. Many of my guys don't even have the propper button anymore because they popped off and went to the away. Excellent pant, just sew a little better in the button department.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for manufacturing plant I bought 4 pairs for working as a resident engineer at a manufacturing plant. I am 5'10" 285lb and bought the 42 x 30. I like the rise as I wear them below my waist (gut actually). The expanding waist gives me adequate room. The keep-tucked feature inside the waistband really works. Also, the two cell pockets are a delight feature so I can carry my work and personal cell secured in them. The slash pockets are deep. Another surprise/delight feature is the magazine pockets inside the side flap pockets. I use them for markers etc. I like the fit although the length is long for me at 30" inseam I manage that

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My First Pair of Tactical Pants But Not My Last I was given these as a gift. For work I normally wear Dockers as our office has a work casual dress code. Otherwise I’m wearing jeans. These pants have the comfort of jeans but look nice and were great on the range. As silly as it sounds after the fit and comfort the thing I love most about them is the pocket on the left leg where I keep my glasses. As someone who has never worn tactical pants, I can say these are nice. Great comfort, great stretch, and just the right weight for a guy who is tough on clothing. The material is just right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Comfortable and Durable I have been wearing these pants on patrol for approximately a month now. These are some of the most comfortable tactical pants I've worn in my 9 years of service. They have plenty of pockets and areas for storage. They are well constructed. These pants are ideal for patrol, class B uniforms, and tactical units. I would highly recommend these pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Duty Pants! This is a great product. I work in law enforcement, so I wear these all day during a shift. They are very comfortable and durable. I do wish there were less belt loops. My duty belt stays attached with velcro and due to the number of loops it doesn’t stay as secure as I’d like.

I wear a 36" waist jean. I am changing from OWB Carry to IWB Carry with a Springfield XDE 45 ACP. Should I go up to a 38" waist or will your 36"waist pant stretch to allow for the IWB Carry?

Asked by: Captnkc
I would suggest going to the 38" waist. The 36" with the stretch will be enough to fit the IWB but would be a tighter fit. You more than likely will be wearing a belt which would take up any loose slack of the 38". I would suggest the Propper tactical belt, inexpensive and can be adjusted in very small take-up amounts that won't interfere with your holster. Thanks

Hi. How big are the front thigh pockets?  Will they fit an iPhone 7 Plus in a case?

Asked by: Steve
I just measured the pockets with a tape measure. The front thigh pockets are roughly 5.5" deep and 3.5" across. An iPhone 7+ with case should fit in the pocket, but will probably stick out about an inch.

What is the weight?

Asked by: Gerry
Without knowing the exact number, I would say it is a mid-weight trouser. Maybe even on the lighter side of that.

Are these fade resistant???

Asked by: Alex
I personally have several pair that have been washed 20 + times and still look black, not the faded black. But I do not wash often in hot water typically using warm or cold wash.

Reviewer 1

The Propper Kinetic Pants were an exceptionally comfortable and practical surprise. Their highlights include an extremely comfortable and durable waistband, a buttoned waist closure, very versatile pocket configurations and maintaining a professional look that is as appropriate with a long-sleeved button up as it is with a plate kit. I was extremely surprised by how unassuming the pants wore and fit. These are not the obvious "that-guy" pants. Functionally speaking, these pants are lightweight enough to wear in the Southern heat and humidity and not absolutely cook. I put this particular pair through the paces to include sprints, base layer under turnout gear, F.R.I.E.S. and S.P.I.E. trial, open swim (excellent range of motion and no binding), a briar patch run (a little painful, but no frays or tears) and finally completed a FRAN (CrossFit routine; time withheld.) I really appreciate the obvious work Propper has put into this release and have already ordered two more pairs for myself.

Reviewer 2

My first impression of the pants upon receiving them was very positive. I really liked the color (charcoal) and they appeared to be very well constructed. I have not worn any pants made by Propper before so I was anxious to give these a try. Below is the positive and negative of what I found. Overall the design is very good. They are a good looking pant and I got a lot of compliments on their overall appearance. The quality appears to be there. Having previously never worn any pants made by Propper, I liked them. Although I would not consider them the best tactical pant I have worn. Sizing is accurate and they have a lot of room for movement. The stretch material is very comfortable and allows for good movement. The design and placement of the pockets is good. I do not like the internal dividers in the cargo pockets though; they are too small. The water repellant in the material works well. I wore them on the range on a couple of rainy days and managed to stay dry. My biggest complaint about the pants are the waistband; I do not like the gripper waistband. I found it to be somewhat uncomfortable. I have had the gripper style in other pants and have never been a big fan. The pants have an extra belt loop and based on the duty gear I was wearing, I had to skip at least one of the extra loops at times. I do like the badge/sunglasses tab on the front two belt loops. I also like the metal button waistband closure; I prefer this over a snap closure. Overall the pants are pretty decent. I wore them a lot over the month or so I tested them and washed them often. The color has remained consistent and the construction is very durable.
