Customer Service Representative

DESCRIPTION: 

We are currently recruiting for candidates to fill a Customer Service Representative position.  The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and respond to customer requests
  • Enter orders into ERP system
  • Provide customers with product and service information
  • Transfer customer calls to appropriate staff as needed
  • Identify research and resolve customer issues
  • Follow up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved
  • Research billing errors and correct as needed
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Successfully and professionally handles customer complaints
  • Builds long-term relationships with customers
  • Empathizes with the customer during difficult situations
  • Replies promptly to all inquiries of customers via email
  • Processes customer orders promptly and efficiently
  • Manages the customer accounts efficiently and accurately
  • Is able to use automated information systems to analyze customer situations
  • Strong team player and commitment to company values

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years customer service experience in a sales and/or manufacturing organization
  • High school diploma - College preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
