Propper men's sweaters and pullovers work for you on duty, on the shooting range, or outside to enjoy your weekend. Here’s a rundown of what Propper can offer for light outerwear.
Practical Fleece Pullover
Just like the name implies, Propper’s Practical® Fleece Pullover has all the handy essentials for a shift: a zippered document pocket, chest pocket with pullout ID panel, and a sleeve pocket with a loop field for attaching your badge.
It’s a midweight, 100 percent polyester fleece with elastic sleeve openings and a drawstring waist to keep out the chill.
Propper’s job shirts come in a few types and varieties. A few useful features are standard: mic clips on the shoulders, dual-depth chest pockets, and anti-abrasion reinforcements at the elbows, side pocket, and inside collar.
They also have a YKK Vislon zipper, which is a lightweight zipper with a smooth action that does not get gummed-up or gritty over time. Our job shirts typically are in ¼ zipper style so you can easily pull them on or off.
Only the materials typically differ. For example, we have a Softshell Job Shirt that is 90 percent polyester, 10 percent spandex. That means it’s warm but lightweight, and it’s been treated with water repellent to help keep you dry in bad weather.
The traditional knit fleece ¼ Zip Job Shirt, on the other hand, is 80 percent cotton. That makes it more appealing to firefighters who need more natural fibers on the job. It also makes for a breathable, comfortable fabric for all seasons.
