Low Quality - Starter Boot

"Owned for just over 1 Years and already failing, I do light duty security foot patrol on mostly smooth surfaces. If you're looking for a good boot that's going to last a long time this is not it. The quality of the leather is subpar at best, the unfinished edges will fray and become messy quickly. The "leather" itself is quite thin and can become cut and damaged easily. The zippers are good quality however and the boot is fairly breathable. The most severe issue I have with this product is the base sole of the boot interior. I am referring to the finished portion that rests beneath the insole. This part of the boot deteriorated completely after just 8 months leaving an exposed metallic grid that started cutting into my feet mid shift. I have tried resolving this issue by using double insoles and well serviceable it is still extremely uncomfortable. When I can afford to spend money on new boots I can assure you I will not be buying anything from Propper. Full disclaimer these boots are made in China, so do not expect quality in any way."

Perfect fit!! Amazing Boot!

"I purchased this boot recently for my son for his Civil Air Patrol cadet ABU uniform boot. It's a perfect fit, and per him. . . . very comfortable. Apparently some major improvements over the combat boots I was issued 30+ years ago. Some change is good!"

Alright

"Alright this boot is pretty good it gets a bit toasty but I think that probably more due to it being black and I was walking in them while the sun was beaming down. For size get your normal size propper tends to line up good with that you may have a tiny bit of extra space not enough to warrant going down a size but when I was walking I noticed there was a tiny amount of space in the back of my heel and it wasn’t to bothersome but it was weird but yeah it’s not a big issue. So quality it’s okay I after waking a bit in them for about of month there was some little parts of the stitching splitting but it seem to be cosmetic and hopefully isn’t the boot breaking down also creases will pop up which is expected. Also I dislike that’s there’s a badge I guess you could call it I showed a picture of it and that badge some times gets in the way when using speed laces so you gotta adjust them to prevent that form happening which is tedious. So I’ve kinda been spoiled by the memory foam insoles of the series 100 boot so when I used this boot the first time I was like dang that’s different but overtime I got used to them but I wouldn’t run or walk too far with those insoles so if you like soft insoles you may wanna get a series 100 boot or some different insoles. So to sum things up this boot looks nice it okay for comfort and is also decent quality for the price"

Zero Zipper

"Nice ankle support. Very lightweight. Needs more ventilation toward toe area. But, although touted as a plus, the side zipper is exceptionally useless because it is placed in an area of the boot that does not facilitate foot insertion into the boot at all. I have had to buy and install boot zippers that are laced up front in order for me to have the convenience of a zip-up boot. A better design would position the side zipper at an angle opening more toward the toe or have the zipper installed in front with adjustable laces on the sides."

I wear a size 15 4E(extra wide) typically. Would these boots fit me?
These boots are available in standard (M) and wide (W) widths, but not in extra-wide (4E). The widest a size 15 comes in is approximately 4 13/16".
Does this boot have the same memory foam insoles as the series 100 boots and if they don’t are they insoles similar
They do not have the same insole. The Tactical boot has an EVA Foam insole.
