Releases unexpectedly

"The biggest issue with this belt is the placement of the release mechanism. It can be unintentionally activated during normal movement, particularly when sitting down, standing up, or bending at the waist. When this happens, the belt loosens without the wearer intentionally releasing it. For a tactical belt, this is a significant design flaw. The belt should remain securely tightened during normal movement and should not have a release mechanism positioned where it can be easily engaged accidentally. The belt itself may be well constructed, but the release mechanism needs to be redesigned or repositioned. Until that is addressed, I would have difficulty recommending this belt for anyone who needs a secure and dependable fit."

Good quality, solid belt. My

"Good quality, solid belt. My issue with it is that when snugged tight, I have about 16 inches extra length wrapping around my waist. This makes it harder to adjust. My waist is 40in, but the belt is 56in long. Not sure if it is miss labeled."

Good belt

"Good belt locks tight but the release handle is to big and long. Every time I bend over and I wear my belt tight it releases the belt a few clicks and the belt loosens. Great belt otherwise"

Where can I purchase a new buckle. The ratchet mechanism broke
We do not have replacement buckles, but you can email us at ecom@propper.com with your order information and we can send you a replacement belt.
Is this a hidden tail where the part of the belt that goes through the buckle goes under the belt instead of on top?
The tail of the belt loops through the back of the back of the buckle and under the belt so it is hidden.
I had a screw fall out of my buckle, how can I get a replacement?

Where is it manufactured?
The belt is made in China.
Can the belt be detached from the "buckle" unit, cut, then reattched to the buckle unit?
Altering the product is not recommended. The first 1.5” of the webbing is treated with a stiffener to enhance the durability of the webbing and to make it easier to feed through belt loops. Cutting the belt shorter would remove this section of the webbing which we think is a nice feature.
