"Was looking for a lightweight pair of pants for doing summer road jobs for work. I am not looking to deter anyone from getting these but they are a bit quirky for my taste. I chose the XL waist as I needed 40 inch. They fit fine but not sure why they just can't use a numeric indication. The front pant pockets are a bit tight for my liking. If I have to get something out, it's a bit of a pain to remove my hand. The right rear pocket is a bit deep for my liking. I have to remove my wallet to drive with them on since it's a bit uncomfortable. They could also use a key ring in the front like the trousers as I have to clip mine onto a belt rung and then the keys just barely reach into the pocket. One day as I was heading into Costco, I saw some lightweight black shorts in a bin for $15. Figured why not and tried them and they are really what I was looking to find. Compared to the $25 plus shipping for these, I should have checked them first. Like I said, you may like these Propper shorts and not find any of what I mentioned bothersome to you."
