"Have used a great deal of propper kit in my life. When I saw this duty jacket , to replace an aging soft shell I jumped at it. Sizing for my 2xl frame was perfect, except for the strongly short sleeves. When driving they sit halfway up my forearms, and I do not have long arms. Hope you guys get it better the next time around"

"About 7 years ago I bought this model (so not a review on the current one). I FREAKING love this thing. It is just in the last year showing signs of wear like seams busting. I got it one size bigger to fit over my thrust vest but have used it as a middle layer while riding, camping, hiking, general work all coat. I have LOADED the pockets down with drinks, ammo, extra magazines, tools, etc. I am talking when it was loaded down and I would ask Central to pass my coat to me their eyes would dang near pop out of their head when they would pick it up. "What is in there?" Then jaws drop as I unload the pockets to find whatever I had crammed into it. Actually looking to buy a new one because my wife loves it and keeps stealing it. She hates the price but I point out I have got my moneys worth seeing as it is still functioning this many years later."

"I bought this jacket for work as a security officer at a condo resort that is on the top of a mountain. We experience extremely cold weather combined with high wind and this jacket does very well at keeping me warm while I'm outside on patrol. It fits very well and the side access zippers are very useful for accommodating my duty belt. My only complaint is that the ID panels are a little too small for my liking."

"I have purchased and returned 2 BA jackets, a medium and a medium tall. The medium tall is too long in the body and a little short on the sleeves. Customer service said a medium would have the same length sleeves so I ordered a medium. The sleeves on a medium a way too short but the body length is good. I have the first model of the BA jacket and a medium fit perfectly. That is why I am a returning customer, finding clothing to fit a man with wider shoulders and an athletic build but is not overweight is difficult. I'm disappointed to see the sizing changing where only overweight consumers can find clothing that fits."
