"I purchased these boots on March 19th 2024. They are very comfortable and the material seemed very durable at the beginning. After a few months the upper material of the right boots started cracking. I clean and polish my shoes at least once a week. After only 8 months the upper material separated from the soul."

"Got these as exchange, 6 was small I’m women’s 8. 6. 5 was great. No break-in required, comfortable from the start. These made it great through some ten hour days, also out in the snow. We will see how they last in industrial/construction setting, that’s how I’ll know to buy them again because everything else is right. Has started clicking in the right toe so it sounds like a flip flop, annoying but not uncomfortable."

My size is 14 and a need a very shoe. Are there different widths besides just wide.: Unfortunately we only offer our boots in a regular and wide length.
Will this boot set off a metal detector? Have to wear steel toe for work trips, would be nice to take advantage of tsa precheck and not have to remove these for metal detector.: This boot features a composite toe, not a steel toe, so the safety toe itself won’t set off a metal detector. However, the boot does include metal components such as the zipper and eyelets, which could trigger detection depending on the sensitivity of the scanner.
I measure out to 8.5D, but I usually get a 9 in boots. Which should I get 8.5W or 9?: If you typically size up to a 9 in boots for comfort, we’d recommend going with the size 9 in the Propper Series 100® 6" Side Zip Boot Waterproof Comp Toe. The 8.5W would provide extra width but not additional length, which might not give you the fit you're used to. Going with the 9 should maintain the fit and comfort you're accustomed to in boots.
Does the "W" in the size represent - women or wide? I'm trying to order a size 6 womens boot.: The W stands for Wide. The sizing is Men's. For women, you would need to go down 2 sizes. We only have sizing down to a 5.
