"After less than two months of wear, the heel came loose between the inner liner and the outside of the boot. Of course, this is sewn in so there is no way to fix it in a manner that makes the boot tolerable to wear. So, I have wasted a significant amount of my uniform allowance and get the privilege of purchasing boots of a different brand, out of pocket. Very, very poor quality."

"The boots are comfortable. I purchased the side zip, assuming that I could take them off and put them on without having to untie them. That is not the case. They are nearly impossible to put on or take off without having to untie them. Other than that, they are good boots."

"I was tired of cheep boots not lasting long so about 4 years ago I go to a store near me and find a pair of the 6" waterproof boots and have worn them to the point the zips don't work anymore. I go out of my way to hunt down the exact same boot to replace them and I'm so disappointed. The boot is not the same. The steel is so much thinner and doesn't cover as much as it used to. The material behind the zip also now has a seam at the top that is digging into my ankle and has left an actual bruise. I'm so disappointed I really wanted theses boots and was so excited to get them but their not the same."

"These boots fit well but the zipper is too short to allow enough leeway to get on and off easily. Had to partially unlace to get on or off. This defeats whole purpose of zip. I think a design flaw. I invite Propper to try this and see themselves. Zipper should reach right down to above the sole. Returned boots for refund."

"They have to be the narrowest boots for being a wide boot I have ever owned. They fit tight and are not comfortable at all. I would not buy them again."

"Great quality boot - comfortable materials, perfect fit, runs true to size, looks mil-spec stylish right down to the webbing and choice of laces. The deal-breaker: the side zipper does not go low enough to allow quick removal, and putting them back on without loosening the laces is impossible. This defeats the purpose. Even pulling them off is a bit of a struggle, but at least manageable if you need to remove them somewhat quickly. If the zipper is a secondary importance to you, absolutely buy yourself a pair. For me it was primary, so I'm returning mine. Which is unfortunate, because I really do like them otherwise. That being said, I'm not sure I'll have any luck finding any 6" boot that has a zipper feature. Quick searches so far have turned up nothing."
