Nice wildland pants, fit is

"Nice wildland pants, fit is on the large side. I'm 6'1 and ordered a small waist with 36 leg. my waist is 31" in other pants."

New sizing is weird and too baggy

"These wildland pants are light, comfortable, well designed basic pants. That said, the new sizing system is awful. For example, the old pants sizing in a 30-34 regular, actually fit people that wore an average size of a 32-34 waist without being crazy baggy or odd shaped. The new sizing system of either a small-regular, where most of the pant appears to fit but the waist is way too small, or medium regular where the waist is a little big but the rest of the pant is huge, don't seem to fit anyone correctly. The person that wears a 32 or 34 waist now can't really fit in to the "small" waist and the medium waist is loose but then the rest of the pants are huge like clown pants. So basically there is a sizing gap for an average person that is an average of a 33" waist, and the overall fit is way baggier than before so it makes everyone look sloppy and not professional. The old style was plenty loose and had plenty range of motion, not tight like the issued PFAS Kevlar pants; these new pant cut are so baggy that the extra tends to catch on things."

Great Wildland Pants

"Build quality and materials are nice. The fit is good. They are very baggy but that is how they are meant to be."

Jake S. (5/5)

High Quality but Watch Waist Sizes.

"I've worn Propper military uniforms for years as an active duty service member. The Wildland Pant is built using the same criteria as the military clothing, so it is of very high quality. Having said that, if the waistline measurements say the range is from X to Y, sometimes the measurement range can be off by up to a couple inches in both directions. The side tabs are supposed to compensate for that, but they often don't."

Q&A

Will my wildland pants shrink if I wash them in hot water
Thank you for your question. We recommend only washing in cold water to retain color fastness, finish and best appearance but if you decide to wash in hot water, wildland pants are made with a synthetic fabric and will not significantly shrink.
What is the wait and length on a small long and medium long
The adjustable waist tabs allow the Small Long to fit a 30–34 inch waist and the Medium Long to fit 34–38 inches. Both have a 36-inch inseam. You can email us at customerservice@propper.com if you need help finding your size.
What pants size in men’s is an xl?
With the adjustable waist tabs, an XL will fit waists from 42"- 46".
