Solid, military style hot weather pants

"The Propper IHWCU pants are solid, military style pants. These appear to be made to the same specs and standards as the ones that I have purchased from AAFES/PX. The sizes run a bit large and long, in my opinion, but purchasing a short-length worked fine for me. I have had the same issue with the IHWCUs purchased from AAFES/PX, so this is the style/cut and not something with the way Propper manufactures this item. The only difference is that this pair of pants is not made in the USA, like the standard military issue items."

I liked my woodland BDU's

"I liked my woodland BDU's but these are such an improvement even over those. These LXL fit fabulously on me 7ft 240lb. I picked these over there build for breathing and drying fast. I love the reinforced knees and how these contour to my legs when you move. These were designed with being on the move in mind. Honestly I use them in the winter to not just summer because they breath and dry fast and you don't want to stay wet in the cold. Layer "propperly" with base layers and your golden for any elements. They are light yet they do seem sturdy and well made."

Waist size runs big. Super baggie knees that are l

"I got the hot weather ones hoping to wear in the summer and I used the size guide and should've been on the tight side of the size I ordered but they are huge on me. Then I didnt realize the knee have a huge baggie area that sit on my shin almost problem is a washed them before wearing them around and realizing it. Kinda regretting my purchase now. This make 2 seperate pairs of pants ive been unhappy with im hesitant to buy again and have my money tied up while still awaiting my return refund from weeks ago. Also irritated none of the coupons I get sent dont work on ocp pants. . SMH feeling frustrated with the entire thing. . im afraid to order different make of trousers and have the waist size be way off or something again. ."

"I found the hot weather blouse to fit true to size, however I had to exchange the pants as they were too large and I found the sizing to run big. Still happy with the product quality and even with the return policy. Exchanged my pants for next size down."

Terrible quality

"Patches on knees and seat faded on first watch. After 4 months I couldn’t wear them on duty anymore and I’ve been in an academic environment the entire time. If you’re active duty, don’t buy these."

Fits true to size. The

"Fits true to size. The only I think about the pants is that the knee area is baggy and bulges out for some reason. Other than that, the uniform feels great and looks great. Swapping to this new OCP hot weather material is a game changer. The Velcro works great and the pockets have buttons. Personally, I’m going to change the buttons to Velcro."

Do these come in any other color besides military issue OCP camo?
Please check out our F5919 BDU 2.0 pants. They are made with the same fabric: 57% Nylon / 43% Cotton ripstop.
The knees faded significantly after one wash like the dye didn’t stick to the nylon correctly. Is this normal?
Some fading can occur with the OCP Hot Weather Trouser due to the fabric blend and dyeing process, especially in high-wear areas like the knees. However, significant fading after just one wash is not typical. We recommend washing in cold water with mild detergent and avoiding bleach or fabric softeners, which can affect the dye.
For someone right in the middle of short and long medium inseam lengths (30” inseam, 33” waist) would you recommend either the short or regular for the best fit?
For a 30" inseam we would recommend a regular length.
Why are the knees so big? They bulge out a considerable amount on the front! I don’t see how they can lay flat and ever look normal.
The knees are designed with extra room and articulation to allow for a full range of motion—especially when kneeling, crouching, or moving quickly. This added space ensures comfort and mobility during active use, which is essential in tactical and operational environments. While they may appear to bulge slightly when laid flat, they contour to the body during wear and function as intended when in motion.
Will these shrink? I ordered LS from Amazon.ca because some reviews mentioned they run small and the length is perfect but a little bit big in the waist, in which case a little shrinkage would be good. If not then I’ll have to try M (not sure if there’s any waist difference btwn MR and MS?). Definitely different sizing from BDU. Any help appreciated thanks!
These can shrink so to avoid this we recommend washing with cold water and tumble drying on low. There is no difference in waist sizing between MS and MR, the only difference would be the length. The MR will allow up to an additional 3 inches from the MS.
