My favorite shorts

"I don’t know how many pairs of Summerweight Shorts I have but if there were more colors I’d have more shorts. They’re comfortable, if you get them wet they dry very quickly and I love all the pockets. I always get compliments on them. The only issue I have is the khaki shorts are made from a lighter weight material and don’t hold their shape as well as the black and OD green. I definitely recommend them."

Q&A

When it says the waistband is rigid, does that mean it has no stretch to it?
The waistband itself doesn’t stretch. The shorts are made with a lightweight fabric that moves with you, but the waistband is structured to stay securely in place.
The side pocket(s), it it a single pocket on each side that has both a zipper and velcro flap to access, or is there a zipper pocket under the velcro flapped pocket, such that things in the zipper pocket stay separated from the velcro pocket.
Each side has 2 pockets. The zipper pocket is one compartment, and then the velcro flap pocket is a separate compartment positioned in front of the zipper pocket. This means items placed in the zipper pocket will stay completely separated from anything you store in the flap pocket.
Looking to use these shorts for shooting. What size belt does does the waistband fit?
The belt loops are 2".
What is the length of the shorts for a waist size of 36
The Summerweight short has an 11" inseam.
Are summer weight tactical shorts true to size or ego sized? My waist measures 36 but I usually fit best in a 34 with most brands (ego size labeling). (PS your older shorts I own are REALLY oversized and your 34's are even too big but I heard the newer ones are different)
Summerweight shorts are an athletic fit, so they are slimmer in the hips and thighs. They have a rigid waist band. Some guys find they have to size up.
