not exactly what issued in 1968 but good to go

"I have a fondness for jungle boots, the ones I was issued in 1968 were with Panama soles and had a metal plate in side the footbed for obvious reasons, these took a few wearings to get comfortable but like the soles better then of olde."

Jeff A. (5/5)

Good boot for the price

"I wanted a pair of boots that I wasn't worried about ruining on some very dirty projects. These have held up surprisingly well for the price and they aren't uncomfortable to stay in for hours on end. The shaft took some breaking in to get a little flex to it, but the soles were fairly comfortable from the get-go. Good grip, dirt cheap price - can't complain at all."

Bill J. (5/5)

not fantastic

"The shoes aren't very comfortable and they're very slippery on snow or ice, more so than most normal shoes."

Erik K. (2/5)

These have always been comfortable

"They are a classic fit style boot. They are very comfortable for my feet. I wear them in a factory with slippery floors and they don't slip."

Christopher H. (5/5)

Q&A

Is it better to oil or polish the leather
Both serve different purposes. Use a light leather conditioner or oil occasionally to keep the leather from drying out, and use polish to protect the surface and maintain a clean, professional look. For best results, clean the boots first, condition lightly if needed, then polish.
Are they waterproof or water resistant?
This boot is not waterproof or water-resistant. It’s designed with drainage vents to let water flow out and dry quickly—perfect for wet environments, but it won’t keep water out.
Do they have metal in the bottom of the boot for puncture resistance?
These do not have a metal plate in the sole for puncture resistance.
Do you ever have any shoes size 18 wide
These are only offered up to a size 10.5 and does not come in wide options.
Is this an 8 inch boot
These are an 8" boot.
