I have been looking for thoughtfully designed men's shorts for a tall man (6'4"), that are of modern design and stay unwrinkled while I wear them. These shorts are long enough for me (to mid knee cap), are comfortable, and wear well. I liked them well enough to order more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tom C. from Replace the button closure with a snap! I have 5 of these shorts and I like them BUT I wish they had a snap closure vs. the button. The button hole is a little small and the button itself is not secured very well. I have had to replace the button on all 3 of the older shorts and I am sure it will only be a short time before I have to replace the button on the 2 new pair of shorts that I have purchased.

Are the front pockets symetrical? Is the left pocket cut for a clip knife also?

Does the "slider waistband" feature mean that it has an elastic 'expando' waistband like other fine men's shorts?
Yes. I just bought a pair of these shorts. They are high quality, are made and designed very well. The "slider waistband" is done well as on slacks that are very expensive. I can pull out the slider all the way and it still looks classy. I am 6'4" and the shorts come down to my mid knee cap like the guy in the picture. The fabric keeps the shorts looking neat (not like most other shorts that look like they were kept balled up in a lunchbox). My family likes these shorts on me, They make me look handsome, so I will order another pair.
