Propper Tac.U Pant F5212 is rated out of 5 by 8.
It's military-inspired and law-enforcement ideal. We took a cue from the Army Combat Uniform when we designed the Propper® TAC.U Pant. Made of Battle Rip® fabric, it offers law enforcement personnel comfort, color integrity, wrinkle resistance and long-lasting durability in a range of solid colors. A zipper fly, gripper waistband, extra-large belt loops, and eight pockets add function to form. External knee pad openings make it easy to add or remove pads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by catitan98 from Nearly Mil-Spec Pockets are the same as the ACUs I was issued several years ago. Instead of a button-fly, however, these pants feature a zipper and two snaps at the top. Also, the inner waist band has a drawstring and rubberized “shirt stay” (to keep your polo tucked in, for example).

Rated 5 out of 5 by wolf359 from Durable and reliable I bought a pair of proper pants 10 years ago and they stood the test of time with constant wear. They've improved the design so I expect at least 15 years from these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TwoDuns from Really great pants! I wear these at work doing emergency services training. They are cool enough to wear under hazmat garb and the double knees are great for rescue drills. I loved them so much I took them to Kenya on safari! The GIANT cargo pockets can hold a bottle of water or a video camera. So many pockets - I had something in all of them. They washed well and hang dried and then looked good as new for the next adventure! Also love the rubberized waistband - really keeps your shirt tucked in whatever you're doing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ernie H. from Great work pants When i was looking for a good lightweight durable pair of pants i found these at an Army surplus store in Nashville. And if you ever lived there you know how hot and humid it gets. These pants kept me cool when i worked outside and warm in the fall. These pants lasted me almost 4 years and recommend these if you work outside. Will be ordering more in the near future.

Size chart is useless. An inseam of 29.5-32.5 is useless. That is a 3” spread. I have a 29” inseam, so 29.5 is acceptable, but not 32.5. Looking for Tac pant, but get frustrated every time I visit your site. Please help. Thx
This item, like other military items, are meant to be bloused. This is why there is a range on the inseam. If you are wanting to purchase a military item, you would want to get a short length if available in your size if you do not plan on blousing the pant. You can also look at regular tactical pants, which will have a more specific inseam of 30, 32, 34, or 36 inches.

What are the best knee pads for these pants?
The knee pad pocket is 9" long x 8" wide. As to which kneepads to choose, that is personal preference. We recommend trying out several and picking the ones you like the best.

What length is ‘S’ and ‘R’? The size chart does not specify.
Take your waist size (ex. 36", which is a Large-L) and then find your inseam (ex. 32") within the L category, which will be Regular-L. In this example, your total size selection would be LR. Hope that helps!

Hi mate. I am interesting in Propper TAC.U Pants. I can not understand the size chart. My waist is 35.5 in and my height is 170cm. What size is good on me?
What is your inseam length in inches? That will help determine your size.
