Are they machine washable, or do I need to take them out before washing and drying the pants and then put them back in?
They should be removed before washing and drying the pants. Take the kneepad inserts out, wash the pants normally, then clean the pads separately (air dry recommended).
I bought a pair of propper pants that said they were knee pad ready, and there is a piece of material stitched to the inside of the knee that looks like it could hold a knee pad. However there is no opening to get the pad inside, it's stitched all the way around. How do they expect us to get the knee pad into the pocket?
All pants with an internal knee pocket should have an opening large enough to slide the knee pad in. If you're experiencing any issues, feel free to email us at customerservice@propper.com, and we’ll be happy to assist.
