Perform with efficiency in the most demanding situations. The Propper® Men’s Tactical Pant features a low-profile design made of lightweight, breathable ripstop fabric, coated in Teflon™ fabric protector to repel stains and liquids. With nine pockets, an action-stretch waistband, extra-large belt loops, you can carry your gear in comfort. The seat and knees are reinforced for extra durability, while still allowing the addition of knee pads.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Durable with lousy pockets I love the durability of the pants, the ripstop fabric is everything its supposed to be. After wearing them for the better part of a year landscaping six days a week I've finally worn a small hole in the leg where my keys sit. I should point out that every pair of pants I've worked in gets a hole there so no complaints about the ripstop fabric. Sadly I began getting holes in the pockets in the first month. My wife was kind enough to put patches over the pockets to try and hold them together but I have more holes in more places now and need to buy new pants. Every other aspect of the pants has been great, I hope it was just a dud.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from one change needed for the 5th star Dear Propper, I am loving your stuff. The fit is roomy without being baggy and certainly not tight fitting which I love. The teflon coating keeps stuff off them pretty good (but certainly turns up the heat)....I'll try the lightweight next. BUT, the change that is needed....please, please, please get rid of the snap closure in favor of a button. I have these great, tough wearing pants....but every time I squat, kneel, bend, or sit, the damn things come unsnapped. You already provide a button on the french fly, just go ahead and add it in place of the snap for the waistband closure.....Button closure gets you the 5th star :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Updating a previous review I thought I'd give Propper a second try and checked out what they had at my local Army/Navy store. I found the same style pants, but with a few improvements: The pockets had been redone in the same durable ripstop material as the rest of the pants. That had been the only major issue with the last pair I bought. Followed by reinforcement on the right pocket where a folding knife's clip wears down the seam. I was very excited to see the improvements. Having worn this pair six days a week for work all summer I have to say they've held up fantastically. I'm also happy that Propper recognized a flaw in the product and corrected it. Great pair of pants. I'll definitely look for them again as I beat these into the ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable...run small I've bought numerous different style Propper pants and the Tactical Lightweight Ripstop are my favorite. Some of the other styles don't fit as well or have oddly placed pockets . These particular pants have held up great for the 2 years I've worn them. I work on big rig trucks and while these pants WILL pick up grease, they never rip and the knees have held up well. I bought size 34 waist which fits well in every other pant I own, but these were tight from the get-go, even before washing . I'd suggest going up one size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Couldn't Care Less about Customers First off I've purchased a lot of these pants in the past. Unfortunately I chose to buy Direct this time. I have been waiting 5 days now for Propper Customer Service to issue a Return Authorization. And I'm not happy about it. In the mean time I keep getting adverts. You know who doesn't play games with their Customers? Carharrt. It's not my fault that Propper sent me 2 Defective pairs of pants. I guess I'll just have to call my credit card company. When they don't get paid then maybe someone will get off their ass and take care of this problem. SAD WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the best work pants I have ever bought (Comfortable/Durable) Being in construction management, I have gone through so many clothes over the years. These are the toughest pants that stand up to dirt, water, etc. I hope they keep making this for many years to come. My previous pairs of stretch tactical pants lasted 2+ years(I still wear them) and I bought these and have been wearing them for approx. 6 months without issues. I have them in every color and I wash them by themselves in a dye/fragrance/fabric softener free detergent. If you take care of these pants, they'll take care of you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely best pants for the price. I've been wearing these pants specifically for about 6 years. I've wore 5.11 tactical before and think these are comparable if not superior in most ways. Love that i can put knee pads inside on my own. Ripstop works great. I'm a big guy. 345 pounds and do not find these pants binding unless I'm raising my knee well above my waist. I would suggest these for anyone on a budget for sure. Only place that has ever worn out was the inside thighs, again because I'm a large guy and they rub a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don't wear anything else! The Canvas wears like Iron, looks good, very comfortable. Hell, I will wear a new pair out to dinner, no issues. When it comes to work again no issues, warm in the winter (with silk long johns), not bad in the summer for the protection. Very tough and repairable. I have pants over 4 years in service. I been wearing tactical pants/shorts for over 18 years regularly. I had retail, brand names, outfitter, military issue. These pants have beaten them by a margin, some by a large margin.
